EPISODE SUMMARY

In this episode of Black Businesses Matter, I had the opportunity to sit down with Chelsea Lewis Founder & CEO of My Mommy Wisdom. My Mommy Wisdom– a super dope cruelty-free product line for women and children. They are the first ever inclusive product line made by a black woman to support mommies and their children throughout the prenatal, postpartum, and childhood stages. My Mommy Wisdom products are carefully curated with mommy and baby in mind and offer holistic relief to different ailments such as skin care, teething relief, lactation support, hair growth, feminine hygiene, and more. Growing up, Chelsea was immersed in the health of women and children due to her parents' healthcare professions in OB-GYN and Pediatrics.  Along with her passion for health and wellness - she’s always had an entrepreneurial spirit growing up. During our conversation - we dive deep into postpartum and how it can manifest itself in different manners for women. We learn how her pregnancy journey turned into a business to help and educate other women. In addition to running My Mommy Wisdom, Chelsea continues to champion Black Maternal Health and uses her platform to connect with moms of color to better educate them about pregnancy, postpartum, childbirth, and parenting. My Mommy Wisdom is a certified cruelty-free product line and a leader in the Black-Owned Baby Goods industry. My Mommy Wisdom carefully curates healing products safe and effective enough for pregnant women and newborns.
